Alishan, the moment before sunrise
Updated: Jan 21, 2019
One of my most admired ancient Chinese philosopher, the founder of philosophical Taoism - Laozi, said it well - " A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving."
So I would like to borrow a quote from one of the greatest photographers in our time, and a dear friend of mine, Steve Mccurry: "My life is shaped by the urgent need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport."
This image blog "Here and There" is a collection of random images I took along my steps, with my camera, and it begins with a picture I took in Taiwan, where I was born and raised, at the moment of sunrise in Alishan.
